Role Description:
The Healthcare Access Specialist serves as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and payers. You’ll verify insurance eligibility, secure ride authorizations, and support patients navigating coverage—ensuring no one misses care due to logistics.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in healthcare administration, case management, or medical front office preferred
- Knowledge of Medi-Cal, Medicare, and private insurance workflows
- Organized with strong documentation and communication skills
- Empathetic problem-solver with scheduling software experience
